Tokyo Joshi Pro Results 4/24/21: Sena Shiori Final Match and Status Update

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling results from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 at Itabashi Green Hall on 4/24/21 (to air on WRESTLE UNIVERSE as VOD in a few days):

Maki Itoh and Arisu Endo beat Nao Kakuta and Moka Miyamoto when Itoh submitted Miyamoto with the Itoh Special in 9:51.

Hyper Misao won a 3-Way Match over Pom Harajuku and Mahiro Kiryu by pinning Harajuku with a cradle in 11:01.

Marika Kobashi, Yuki Kamifuku, and Raku beat Nodoka Tenma, Yuki Aino, and Haruna Neko when Kobashi pinned Neko with the Tornado Bulldog in 11:29.

Hikari Noa pinned Sena Shiori with the Blizzard Suplex in 8:50. This was Shiori’s last match at least for a while based on her post match comments. The company announced this week that she suffers from a chronic illness and was advised by doctors to stop wrestling in order to hopefully fully recover. In her promo she thanked the fans for their support but she said she is “graduating” from wrestling due to her illness but she is not retiring and hopes to be back one day.

Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki, and Shoko Nakajima beat Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe, Mirai Maiumi, and Suzume when Nakajima pinned Watanabe with a Northern Lights Suplex in 13:07. Nakajima cut a promo to close the show and talked about not seeing the fans for a while because of the state of emergency in Japan. They plan to live stream the 5/1, 5/4, and 5/5 events with no fans. They're postponing the 5/9 show because that one was supposed to be exclusively with fans in attendance who subscribe to WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
