Tokyo Joshi Pro “Still Incomplete” Results 4/17/21

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “Still Incomplete” results from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 at Korakuen Hall on 4/17/21 live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE:

The next big show of TJPW to air live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will be on 5/4/21 back at Korakuen Hall. It will have English commentary.

This year’s Tokyo Princess Cup Tournament was announced to take place starting on 7/22/21 at Shinkiba 1st Ring with other dates on 7/23, 7/24, and 7/25 at the venue. The semifinals will be at Shinjuku FACE on 7/31. Finals are at Korakuen Hall on 8/15.

Yuki Arai was brought to the ring and formerly introduced to the crowd. She will make her in-ring debut on the 5/4 event. Arai joining the company got a lot of press in Japan this week because she is a member of an idol group called SKE48.

Azusa Takigawa did the voiceover announcements to run down today’s full card shown on the video screen.

Marika Kobashi and Sena Shiori beat Moka Miyamoto and Arisu Endo when Shiori submitted Miyamoto to a modified half crab hold.

Miu Watanabe, Raku, and Pom Harajuku beat Yuna Manase, Mahiro Kiryu, and Haruna Neko   when Raku pinned Neko after the Doctor Yellow neck breaker.

Miyu Yamashita pinned Hikari Noa after the Skull Kick. Yamashita absolutely blasted her with the kick and it looked like a knockout blow. The kick heard around the world.

Mirai Maiumi and Suzume won a 3-Way Tag Team Match over Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki... Shoko Nakajima and Hyper Misao when Maiumi pinned Nakajima after a lariat.

All of the title matches are up next starting with the International Princess Title bout. 30-minute time limit for each title match.

International Princess Champion Yuki Kamifuku pinned Nao Kakuta after the Famouser. They teased Kakuta possibly winning with a cross face submission for a long time but Kamifuku was able to survive. This was Kamifuku’s third successful defense.

The Princess Tag Team Titles are on the line next. I have a feeling if any titles change today it will be this one. Sakisama and Mei Saint-Michel are on a roll and an incredibly charismatic duo.

Sakisama and Mei Saint-Michel won the Princess Tag Team Titles from Nodoka Tenma and Yuki Aino. Good finish as Tenma hit the Kill Switch on Mei but was slow to go in for the cover and Mei rolled her up for the pin and the win. After the match, Sakisama gloated and said she didn’t think anyone would be dumb enough to challenge them today. As soon as they were going to leave Mirai Maiumi and Suzume came out to make a challenge. It will happen on the 5/4/21 event.

The main event is next with Princess of Princess Champion Rika Tatsumi defending against international Joshi sensation Maki Itoh.

Princess of Princess Champion Rika Tatsumi pinned Maki Itoh after a hip attack, Twist of Fate, and the Missile Hip. Tatsumi put Itoh over on the mic afterwards. Itoh came back into the ring and looked like she was going to give respect but she gave Tatsumi the middle finger instead then left the ring to walk to the back with Miyu Yamashita who was one of the seconds at ringside. Tatsumi called Yamashita into the ring. She said she needed someone new to defend against and wanted her to be the next challenger. They got into a slap fest then Yamashita left the ring in disgust.
