Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “Additional Attack” Results 6/27/21: Yamashita Gets A New Challenger

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “Additional Attack” results from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 at Korakuen Hall on 6/17/21 live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE:

Stewart Fulton, Mark Pickering, and DDT Extreme Champion Chris Brookes are the broadcast team for the English language simulcast. Brookes is always interesting on commentary. He’s very tall and intimidating as a pro wrestler but on these shows he calls the action like a polite Englishman to where you wouldn’t even know that he was a pro wrestler. All the guys have good chemistry and a wealth of pro wrestling knowledge. They call shows like a sport and there’s nobody acting like a “heel announcer”.

Miu Watanabe, Hikari Noa, and Raku performed a song in the ring.

Former TJPW star Azusa Takigawa did the voiceover on the video wall for the announcements of today’s card lineup.

Nodoka Tenma, Yuki Aino, Raku, and Pom Harajuku beat Suzume, Haruna Neko, Moka Miyamoto, and Arisu Endo when Raku pinned Endo after the Dr. Yellow neck breaker in 12:05.

Shoko Nakajima beat Kaya Toribami by trapped head and arms submission in 7:47.

Yuki Kamifuku and Nao Kakuta beat Miu Watanabe and Mahiro Kiryu when Kamifuku pinned Kiryu after two Famousers in 11:11.

Mirai Maiumi beat Yuki Arai by Miramare submission. This was Arai’s first singles match after being in a couple of tag bouts. She got in a near fall with a backslide and was able to kick out of Maiumi’s lariat. Time of the fall was 12:41.

Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki beat  Rika Tatsumi and Hyper Misao when Sakazaki pinned Misao after the Magical Chicken Dude Splash set up by the Magical Merry Go Round in 11:49.

International Princess Champion Hikari Noa pinned Marika Kobashi with the Blizzard Suplex in 11:13. This was the first defense for Noa.

Princess Tag Team Champions Sakisama and Mei Saint-Michel beat Princess of Princess Champion Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh by referee stoppage when Sakisama choked out Yamashita with Versailles Foot Choke in 19:09. Second title defense for the two. Mei pandered to Sakisama after the match while Itoh tried to give Yamashita a pep talk over the loss. Sakisama challenged Yamashita for the POP Title to take place on 6:26/21 at Ryogoku KFC Hall.

The next live TJPW show on WU will be 6/19/21.
