STARDOM “STARDOM Award 2021” Results 1/3/22: Masked Duo Revealed

STARDOM “STARDOM Award 2021” from Tokyo, Japan ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต at Belle Salle Takadonobaba on 1/3/22 live and free on YouTube:

I don’t know how long this show will remain up on YouTube. It could be pulled at any point and moved to STARDOM World as they see fit.

Rina, Ruaka, and Stardom beat Waka Tsukiyama, Lady C, and Mina Shirakawa when Ruaka pinned Tsukiyama after the Freezer Bomb in 10:39. After the match, Kid said Oedo Tai wants a title shot at the Artists of STARDOM Titles. She told STARDOM Executive Producer Ross Ogawa (who was sitting at the time keeper’s table) to make the match.

Syuri, Maika, Himeka, and NatsuPoi beat Mayu Iwatani, Hazuki, Koguma, and Hanan when Himeka pinned Koguma with the running powerbomb out of the corner in 13:35.

Saya Kamitani, Utami Hayshishita, and AZM  beat Momo Watanabe, Fukigen Death, and Saki Kashima when AZM submitted Kashima with the Numero Uno in 16:21. After the match, all of the other Oedo Tai members rushed in the ring and attacked AZM. A big brawl broke out and Lady C ran in to help out AZM, Kamitani, and Hayshishita. AZM challenged Watanabe to a singles match. Hayshishita asked Lady C to join Queen’s Quest and she accepted.

During the ring entrance of Donna del Mondo at the main event, the masked duo immediately unmasked to reveal themselves. They are Mirai Maiumi and Thekla. Maiumi left Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling back in September and Thekla left Ice Ribbon at the end of November. I think everyone was surprised that they were immediately revealed instead of waiting until during the match or after the match.

Giulia, Mirai Maiumi, and Thekla beat Tam Nakano, Unagi Sayaka, and Mai Sakurai when Thekla pinned Sakurai after the Poison Spider Drop in 19:37. Giulia gloated after the match. Thekla speaks multiple languages. She spoke in English and introduced herself to the crowd then in Japanese. Mirai spoke next. She’s only going by the first name in STARDOM. Thekla and Giulia hugged with excitement as they were in Ice Ribbon together a few years ago, then Giuila jumped to STARDOM in late 2019. Giulia brought in Syuri, Himeka, Maika, and NatsuPoi to join them all in the ring and pose for the cameras as Donna del Mondo is in full force.

STARDOM “5-STAR Grand Prix 2021” (Day 7) Results 8/29/21: HAZUKI Returns!

STARDOM “5-STAR Grand Prix 2021” results from Tokyo, Japan ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต at Bellesalle Shiodome on 8/29/21 live on YouTube:

I’m not sure how long this show will be kept up to view on YouTube before it moves over to STARDOM World. It may have been a live only broadcast option. There is no commentary team.

AZM beat Hanan by arm bar submission in 9:00.

Momo Watanabe beat Mai Sakurai by submission with the chicken wing face lock in 8:31.

Fukigen Death pinned Himeka in 4:44 of a Red Block Match for 2 points. Bizarre finish as Himeka drove Death into the mat but Death popped right up and rolled Himeka up for the pin. Death has 2 points so far and Himeka has 0 in the tournament.

Future of STARDOM Champion Unagi Sayaka pinned Rina in 9:55 after her forward Gory Bomb finisher. STARDOM executive producer Rossy Ogawa was in the ring with the title for the championship match photo op before the match started. Rina attacked Sayaka before the bell. Sayaka ended up hugging her after the match.

They announced the STARDOM offering matches yet to be announced for the New Japan shows on 9/4 and 9/5 at MetLife Dome will air on New Japan World. Their previous matches at New Japan shows were dark matches that aired on STARDOM World as VOD later.

Mayu Iwatani pinned Lady C after a Moonsault in 9:12. After the match, HAZUKI ran in the ring and got on the mic to speak to Iwatani in a big return angle. She retired from STARDOM on Dec. 24, 2019 but worked the Hana Kimura Memorial Show back on 5/23/21. I’m far from fluent in Japanese, but she told Iwatani she was back to inspire STARDOM. She then handed the mic to Iwatani and left the ring. Iwatani looked shocked and in deep thought to close the segment.

Takumi Iroha pinned Maika after the Running Three  in a Blue Block Match in 13:45 for 2 points. Iroha has 2 points and Maika has 7 points in the tournament so far.

They announced a show in Osaka at Osaka-Jo Hall as part of the company’s 10th Anniversary celebrations on 10/9/21.

Starlight Kid pinned High Soeed Champion NatsuPoi with a Tiger Suplex in 16:59 to win the title.

May Valentine interviewed Melina on a set in the venue. Melina will challenge Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo later. She said she wished her father was there to see her. Then the feed crashed.

After some technical difficulties, NWA Empowerrr executive producer Mickie James came out to the ring to open the ppv. She said this night wasn’t about her then started talking about getting told “no” in the past about having another all-women’s show (a reference to her time in WWE). She said the whole thing was about inspiring little girls. She will face Kylie Rae on the NWA 73rd Anniversary show tomorrow.

Diamantรฉ won a 3-Way Match over Chik Tormenta and Kylie Rae by pinning Tormenta after her Code Red finisher, stealing the win from Rae with a distraction as Rae had Tormenta in the cross face submission.

Allysin Kay and Marti Belle beat Renee Michelle and Sahara 7 when Kay pinned Michelle after a double team pedigree finisher in a NWA Women’s Tag Team Titles Tournament semifinals match for the vacant titles. Non-stop action throughout with a mix of brawling and wrestling.

Kay said she was the first person of the NWA modern era to hold the NWA Women’s Title and now could be the first to hold the returning tag titles in the modern era. Belle said she could be the first of Dominican Republic heritage to hold a legit recognized NWA Women’s Title.

Gail Kim came to the ring to cut a promo but was interrupted by Taryn Terrell, JennaCide, and Paola Mayfield (aka Blaze).Terrell is still doing a Beautiful People type gimmick in 2021. She said NWA is her territory and demanded Kim leave the ring. Kim refused so Terrell was going to send Blaze and JennaCide after her. Awesome Kong came out to back up Kim. She took out Blaze ant JennaCide as Terrell bailed out of the ring. As Kim yelled at the heels, Kong asked her to face her in the ring. Kong got on the mic and said she’s not much for words and it’s been a long year at her house. She said Gail Kim was the only person to get her off the couch to come back for anything. She said she loved Kim. Kim was crying and said she didn’t know what to say but she and Kong will always have a bound for life.

Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo beat Melina by trapped arm and half crab combo submission. They were given lots of time. Melina walked out with help from the referee but she was limping.

Madusa came out to do guest commentary. They said she will present the tag team titles to the winners of the tournament.

Allysin Kay and Marti Belle beat Red Velvet and KiLynn King in the NWA Worlds Women’s Tag Team Titles Tournament finals match to win the vacant titles when Belle pinned Velvet after an assisted AK-47 finisher. Madusa brought in the tag belts and congratulated them. King and Velvet looked like they were going to attack the new champions from behind but ended up congratulating them and showing respect.

NWA owner Billy Corgan politely walked near the broadcast table looking a member of the crew. He held “The Burke” under wraps in his hand which is the NWA Women’s Title last appearing in the NWA in 1954. He had  Kyle Davis (who is doing ring announcing for the title matches) read a statement from him to the crowd about the history of the title and Mildred Burke. The Burke was unwrapped and brought in the ring to show the crowd.

Tim Storm joined the announcers as guest color commentary. Nick Aldis, Thom Latimer, and Chris Adonis were watching in the Bush Beer VIP section of the crowd to cheer on Kamille.

NWA Worlds Women’s Champion Kamille pinned  Leyla Hirsch after a spear. This was a great showcase for both. Hirsch stood on the top of the ring post and gave Kamille a twisted suplex off the ropes. She then followed up and gave everything she had including several German Suplexes and a shining wizard. She locked in the arm bar a couple times but Kamille powered out. Hirsch kept coming at Kamille nonstop and finally got caught with the spear.

Kamille went over to the VIP area to celebrate with Latimer, Aldis, and Adonis and acted cool and relaxed about surviving Hirsch. Trevor Murdoch got close and started yelling at Aldis to hype their match tomorrow at NWA 73.

The Gauntlet Match main event is next. 10 women. Two start off with someone in every two minutes. Pin and submission rules. The winner faces Kamille for the title tomorrow at NWA 73rd Anniversary live on FITE at 8pm EST.

The baby faces surrounded the ring while the heels stood on stage in the back. Mickie James, Gail Kim, Jazz, Madusa, and Awesome Kong applauded on stage. Green was given a trophy cup for the win.

This was a great show. Everyone worked their tails off. It wasn’t just the best American women’s ppv of all time (there hasn’t been many), it was the best NWA ppv so far under Billy Corgan ownership. It didn’t drag and all of the matches were good to great.

Back in the ring, Kasey gave Jayne a powerbomb off the ropes on the top points of  two set up chairs in the ring. She later brought out lemons and a bag of thumbtacks from under the ring.
